| ABOUT HEALTH AND BEAUTY
You Are Beautiful a poem about beauty written by Delia Francois Weave, makeup, jewelry, what constitute beauty? To tell the truth I love all the hoopla that goes on when I'm beautifying myself. Other people think that it's a waste of time. Some notice how the media place so much emphasis on beauty and beautiful people. The real truth is beauty sell. In fact, it on the top of everyone's list. People make more money on beauty than any commodity. It's intertwine with the perception of perfection. Most people are attractive to people, places and things that are beautiful, but you and I both know that beauty has a dark side. It has cause people to kill, steal and even destroy lives. It can be liken to a red shiny poison apple. It's alluring and can be dangerous. People have done malicious things to it and some has done unspoken things to be it. Oh, beauty is so complicated.
You see, beauty can be a wonderful and loving joy to have and to hold, to love and to care about. You can be favored if you have it or discriminated against if you don’t. "And" what about the eye of the beholder? That’s another subject, the beholder has such a unique approach to beauty. For it belongs to every individual. No one man or woman can determine the true status on what is beautiful or the true price one will pay for it, but we know this! Beauty has always been around. We see it as a sign of perfection and light, and although no one human own it, we all cherish it. Beauty, oh beauty where forth are thou. Please go now, do what I have done, find what I have found, look into the mirror and see what I see. You are complicated, for you are beautiful too. All right reserved Women Wealth Network LLC 2009®

| What Is Breast Cancer?
Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer found in women in the United States. Breast cancer is a malignant (cancer) tumor that starts from cells of the breast. It is found mostly in women, but men can get breast cancer, too. Here we will only talk about breast cancer in women. Breast cancer is a malignant (cancer) tumor that starts from cells of the breast. It is found mostly in women, but men can get breast cancer, too. Here we will only talk about breast cancer in women. Parts of the normal breast To understand breast cancer, it helps to know something about the normal structure or parts of the breasts. A woman's breast is made up of glands that make breast milk (called lobules), ducts (small tubes that carry milk from the lobules to the nipple), fatty and connective tissue, blood vessels, and lymph (pronounced "limf") vessels. Most breast cancers begin in the cells that line the ducts (ductal cancer), some begin in the lobules (lobular cancer), and a small number start in other tissues. The lymph system The lymph system is one of the main ways in which breast cancers can spread. Lymph nodes are small, bean-shaped groups of immune system cells (cells that fight infections) that are connected by lymphatic vessels. Lymphatic vessels are like small veins, except that they carry a clear fluid called lymph (instead of blood) away from the breast. Breast cancer cells can enter lymphatic vessels and begin to grow in lymph nodes. Most lymph vessels of the breast lead to lymph nodes under the arm. These are called axillary nodes. If breast cancer cells reach the underarm lymph nodes and keep on growing, they cause the nodes to swell. The doctor needs to know whether cancer cells have spread to lymph nodes because if they have, there is a higher chance that the cells have also gotten into the bloodstream and spread to other places in the body. The more lymph nodes that have cancer in them, the more likely it is that the cancer will be found in other organs, too. This could affect the treatment plan. Breast lumps that are not cancer Most breast lumps are benign. This means they are not cancerous. Benign breast tumors are abnormal growths, but they do not spread outside of the breast and they are not life-threatening. But some benign breast lumps can increase a woman's risk of getting breast cancer. Most lumps are caused by fibrocystic changes. Cysts are fluid-filled sacs. Fibrosis is the formation of scar-like tissue. These changes can cause breast swelling and pain. They often happen just before a woman's period is about to start. The breasts may feel lumpy, and sometimes there is a clear or slightly cloudy nipple discharge. How Many Women Get Breast Cancer? Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the United States, other than skin cancer. It is the second leading cause of cancer death in women, after lung cancer. About 192,370 women in the United States will be found to have invasive breast cancer in 2009, and about 40,170 women will die from the disease. Right now there are about two and a half million breast cancer survivors in the United States. The chance of a woman having invasive breast cancer some time during her life is a little less than one in eight. The chance of dying from breast cancer is about one in 35. Breast cancer death rates have been going down. This is probably the result of finding the cancer earlier and better treatment. | | Kitchen Makeover Video Take Good Care of Your Immune System The immune system is your most important health ally. Its job is to keep you healthy at all times. Your body is created that way; if only you could eat and drink foods that are completely pure and chockfull of all the best vitamins, minerals, enzymes, etc. The main function of your immune system is to fight off all the harmful bacteria, viruses, toxins, parasites and the like that are constantly trying to attack you.
Your skin is your protective coating. Toxins, acids and overexposure to sunshine are just a few examples of how it can be attacked. Furthermore, all kinds of germs enter the body through cuts, bruises and burns.
You are constantly bombarded by billions of harmful elements, called pathogens, every day. The nose, mouth and skin are examples of mechanical barriers that are the first line of defense against infection. However, your body is not sealed against all detrimental onslaughts. Other systems help protect the body openings: the lungs, intestines, and the genitourinary tract.
Mechanical barriers are involuntary actions that expel pathogens. Coughing and sneezing eject most of these invaders from the respiratory tract. Tears and urine expel them through their automatic flushing action, while mucus in the respiratory and gastrointestinal tracts ensnares the microorganisms.
Then there are the chemical barriers. These are antimicrobial enzymes secreted in the skin and respiratory tract. Saliva, tears, breast milk, gastric secretions and genitourinary tract secretions all fight off germs chemically.
A healthy immune system keeps you healthy by getting rid of the culprits before they can settle in and reverse your sense of wellbeing. It also heals any physical injury! Fever and swelling are some of the side effects of an effective immune system.
This is merely a partial simplistic picture of your immune system. But, isn't it amazing how your body is programmed to keep you in top health?
So, why is it that you still get sick if your body is designed to fix every ailment single handedly? Well, in a nutshell, the lack of the right nutrients and antioxidants in your regular diet will eventually lead to immunodeficiency.
Immunodeficiency diseases occur when the immune system becomes less active. This can be caused by genetic diseases, drugs, or infections such as Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), which is caused by the retrovirus HIV.
On the other side of the spectrum are the autoimmune diseases resulting from a hyperactive immune system. In this case normal healthy tissues are attacked as if they were foreign organisms. Autoimmune diseases include rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes mellitus type 1 and lupus. There is much scientific study in progress regarding its causes.
High blood sugar, for example, is the result of the immune system getting a wrong signal to destroy cells in the pancreas. Itching and sneezing reflect the system's overreaction to certain stimuli due to faulty communication between cells.
Our blood requires a ph balance of 7.36. If it's too acidic, which is most often brought on be various forms of stress, it will attempt to regain its alkalinity. It does that by leeching calcium, which is alkaline, from the bones. According to medical science, this calcium transfer is the cause of so many joint disorders!
So you can see that the body, although it has all the systems in place for your health, is very dependent on optimum nutrition
. Your very best investment in your life and wellbeing is keeping your ph balance in check with the most potent antioxidants. They are the communicators between all the cells and ensure that your immunity is a peak performance.
Nuggets of wisdom to take to heart: An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure! Don't worry; be happy! Laughter doeth good like a medicine.
